Have you ever wondered why someone would call themselves a "witch"? Or what's the difference between a "Wiccan" and a witch? Or whether Wiccans believe in God, or a god, or many deities? Or if some form of magic is real? Or whether there are spiritual people who share your love of nature and the outdoors?

Come find out! The Coven of Our Lady of the Woods will be presenting a six-week series on Wiccan beliefs and practices at 7 PM on Wednesdays, August 23, 2017 - September 27, 2017 at the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos (1738 N. Sage Street).

Topics covered in the classes include an Introduction to Wicca, its history, world view and theology; the holidays it celebrates throughout the year; basic beliefs and ethics of the Craft; use of magick; the role of ritual and various rites of passage; and what it means to live as a pagan in the modern world.
